Entertainment Desk: A case has been filed against 408 people, including actor and managing director of advertising agency Asiatic 36s Iresh Zaker, in the death of BNP activist Mahfuz Alam Shravan in the violence that broke out in Mirpur, the capital, during the anti-discrimination movement. On April 20, the deceased’s brother, Mostafizur Rahman Bappi, filed a case in the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court.
After the news of the case became public, a storm of protest erupted on social media. Well-known faces and fans from the showbiz arena have come out in support of Iresh Zaker. They claim that Iresh Zaker, as a conscious citizen and artist who peacefully participated in the anti-discrimination movement, was always on the side of justice. Many are surprised and disappointed that serious charges like murder have been brought against such an artist.
Many, including directors, actors, and theater personalities, have called it ‘terribly unwanted’ and ‘harassing’ on social media. They have quickly demanded an impartial investigation and justice for this incident.

By making such cases of disappearances, they are making it easier for the real accused of the July murder to escape. The government should be careful about that.

Because in this, the July murder cases are toys, and the conspiracy to hide the main criminals remains hidden from view. Iresh Zaker was active since the July movement started. But the fabricated murder case is very disappointing! The only request from this government is that the cultivation of fascism in a different form does not start again; quick action is desirable.

It is the flagship organization of Asiatic Threesix. Its managing director is Iresh Zaker, and its chairperson is his mother, Sara Zaker.
