The Crime Desk: After removing the workers who were unable to go to Malaysia from the Karuran Bazar intersection, the workers surrounded the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment with a protest march. At 11:40 am on Wednesday, they left Karuran Bazar with a protest march towards the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare.

Then the protesters blocked the road in front of the Expatriates’ Welfare Building. At this time, the OC of Ramna Police Station entered the ministry with a 4-member representative.

The protesters said we were not allowed to stay in Kauran Bazar. Therefore, we will hold a protest march in front of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare. We will present our demands there again.

Meanwhile, when they left with the protest march, traffic jams were created on the Kauran Bazar Bangla Motor and Shahbagh-bound roads. As a result, the common people suffered.

Earlier, they held a sit-in program at Karuran Bazar from 9 am with 4 demands. Later, the police removed them from the road at around 11:15 am.
