City reporter: New police superintendents have been posted in four districts of the country, including Chittagong. The districts are Chittagong, Tangail, Dinajpur, and Natore. The posting was made in a notification signed by Abu Sayeed, Deputy Secretary of the Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Monday.
The newly posted police superintendents are as follows: Tangail’s police superintendent, Md. Saiful Islam Santu, has been posted in Chittagong, Criminal Investigation Department (CID); Md. Mizanur Rahman has been posted in Tangail; Natore’s police superintendent, Md. Marufat Hossain, has been posted in Dinajpur; and Police Headquarters AIG Mohammad Amjad Hossain has been posted as SP of Natore district.
In addition, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Police Commissioner Mohammad Mahbub Hasan has been posted as the Superintendent of Police of the CID, and Abu Hasan Muhammad Tariq, Additional Inspector General of Police of the Police Directorate, has been posted as the Rector of Dhaka Police Staff College.
