Entertainment Desk: Popular Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has arrived in Dhaka. The renowned musician of the subcontinent landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at midnight on Friday (December 20). At that time, a group of students of Dhaka University greeted him with flowers.
A concert titled ‘Echoes of Revolution’ will be held at the Army Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday (December 21) night. World-renowned musician Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will sing at the concert, organized to help those injured and killed in the July mass uprising. He is scheduled to perform his popular songs without remuneration.
Along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, artists from popular domestic bands Artcell, Chirkut, Aftermath, and Silsila will also sing at the concert. Apart from this, rap artists Shezan and Hannan will also perform at the concert.
Apart from music, the concert event will feature various corners, including a graffiti exhibition related to the July Revolution, a stage play, and a mesmerizing water zone.
All proceeds from this concert will be donated to the ‘July Shaheed Smriti Foundation,’ a welfare organization that works with the families of martyrs and injured people.
