The Crime Desk: The body of late advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Tourism, and Land, AF Hasan Arif, will be buried at the Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard in Mirpur. He will be buried at 10 am on Monday (December 23).
Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, gave this information.
He said that his daughter will return from Canada on Sunday (December 22). The burial will be held when the daughter returns.
Advisor AF Hasan Arif fell ill on Friday (December 20) and was taken to Lab Aid Hospital in the afternoon. Doctors there declared him dead. He was 83 years old at the time of his death.
His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baitul Aman Mosque, Dhanmondi, No. 7, after Isha prayers on Friday. The second funeral was held at the High Court premises today (Saturday) at 11 am. The third funeral was held at the Secretariat today (Saturday) at noon.
