The Crime Desk: Sarjis Alam, general secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation and member of the National Citizens Committee, said that the murderer Hasina and her friends are trying in every way so that we do not succeed. If we fail somehow, the murderer Hasina will not survive any of us who are here.
He said these things at the distribution ceremony of financial assistance of five lakh taka to the families of 55 people killed in the July coup at the Tarek Smriti Auditorium of the Town Hall in Mymensingh Nagar on Saturday morning (November 30).
At that time, Sarjis said, the evil plot of the black vultures has not stopped yet. If we can survive with your prayers, we will not let any martyr family or the injured suffer a single blow. None of them will have to live a miserable life. It may take some time to do this. We will always be by your side, giving everything in exchange for our lives.
He said, “It is the responsibility of all of us to protect the dream and spirit with which this uprising took place. On the one hand, we will constructively criticize the government, and on the other hand, we will also cooperate with the administration in all its work. Those in the administration who were involved in the massacre must be punished after seeing the video footage and pictures. Now those who are performing the duties of the administration are related to their existence. Because they are sitting here today as a result of this uprising.
Sarjis Alam said if anyone uses religion, no matter what religion it is, if they engage in any kind of extremist communal activity using religion, be it an extremist organization like ISKCON or an organization of any other religion, our position will always be vocal against them.
He also said, “We want all such extremist organizations that exist who use religion to create such communal conflicts among people and create an unstable environment in the country to be banned.” This demand has been made clear on our part.
