Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Myanmar’s armed rebel organization Arakan Army captured six people along with two trawlers on their way to St. Martin with construction material rods and cement from Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar. Among them, 5 Bangladeshis and 1 Rohingya are said to be.
They are Faizu, Mostak Majhi, Abdur Rahman Majhi, Noor Alam, Imran, and another Rohingya resident of St. Martin East.
On Wednesday (November 13), the president of the Saint Martin Boat Owners Association, Abdur Rashid, said that on Tuesday, the Arakan Army captured them from the mouth of the Naf River on the way from Teknaf to Saint Martin with various goods, including rod-cement.
