A young man died of electrocution in Banskhali while repairing the cowshed

Banskhali representative: While repairing the cowshed in Banskhali, he was touched by an electric wire. A young man named Jasim Uddin (32) died. The incident took place at the house of South Chambal Wazor of Ward No. 7, adjacent to the thin market of Chambal Union of the upazila, at around noon today.

Jasim Uddin, who was killed in this incident, is the son of Nurul Haque of that area. Jasim Uddin was a mason by profession. He also did agriculture. She has two daughters, aged 5 and 3.

Cousin of the deceased. Abu Hanif said, “Jasim Uddin was electrocuted when he carelessly touched an electric wire while repairing the old cow shed near his house. Later, he was rescued from the spot and taken to a private hospital in Chambal, where the doctor on duty sent him to Chamek.

When the patient’s relatives took him to the city’s private hospital, Parkview, the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.

Officer-in-charge of Banskhali Police Station. Saiful Islam said, “The incident of death due to electrocution while repairing the slaughterhouse is shocking. However, the family did not make any complaint about the incident.
