Noakhali Correspondent: There has been a case of organized rape of a mother and daughter in Companyganj Upazila of Noakhali. Companyganj Thana police arrested two people named Hasan (42) and Harun (30) in the incident.
They were arrested from Charbalua village of Charelahi union of the upazila on Saturday evening. Before this, after the incident happened last Sunday (October 20) night, the victims did not seek justice from the local socialites. Later, he was forced to go to the local police camp on Saturday (October 27) evening and make a verbal complaint.
The victim woman (38) said that her husband was the driver of the covered van. He lives at home with his daughter (17) and a brother-in-law (21). No one has a house near their house. Rashed, Saiful, Hasan, Harun, Raju, and Ibrahim of the same union came to their house last Sunday around 11 p.m. They opened the door of the house and entered, tied the face, hands, and feet of his son-in-law, and took him and his daughter out of the house.
Meanwhile, three of the youths dragged him to the pond of the house. And the other three girls were taken to the front of the kitchen next to the residence. Then the young men raped her by the pond and the girl in front of the kitchen until three in the morning. While leaving, they looted money and other things from the house. They also threatened not to inform anyone about the incident.
The next morning after the incident, the abused woman reported the matter to the local social leaders and asked them to investigate the incident. But the socialists continued to argue in the name of justice. After being forced, he went to the local Charbalua police camp on Saturday (October 27) afternoon and made a verbal complaint.
Sub-inspector (SI) in charge of Charbalua police outpost. Shahadat said that the accused, Hasan and Harun, were arrested after receiving the complaint.
Inspector (Investigation) of Companyganj Police Station, Abdus Sultan, said that the victim has filed a complaint against six people in the police station. A case is being prepared in the incident.
