The Crime Desk: Three new faces have joined the Public Administration Reform Commission under the leadership of Abdul Mueed Chowdhury. All three are retired government officials. As a result, the number of members of the commission has increased to 11. A notification was issued on Thursday (October 24) from the Cabinet Department in this regard.
They are Professor Syeda Shahina Sobhan (BCS-Health), Feroz Ahmed (BCS-Audit and Accounts), and Khondkar Mohammad Aminur Rahman (BCS-Customs and Excise).
The Public Administration Reform Commission was formed under the leadership of Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, a former bureaucrat and chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, to build a people-oriented, accountable, efficient and impartial public administration.
Other members of the commission are the former secretary. Mohammad Tarek and Dr. Mohammad Ayub Mia, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration. Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, former additional secretary. Md. Hafizur Rahman Bhuiyan and former joint secretary Dr. Rizwan Khair, the former chairman of the public administration department of Dhaka University. Aka Feroze Ahmad and a student representative.
