Maheshkhali Correspondent: The identity of the unidentified youth rescued from a paddy field in Fakiraghona village of Bara Maheshkhali union of Maheshkhali upazila has been found. The identity of the body could not be identified during the day as the face was disfigured when the body was recovered. It is 23-year-old Md. from the neighboring area. His family confirmed the body of Qaiser Hamid yesterday evening. In this incident, the family filed a case with the police station on behalf of unknown persons.

Local UP member Zillur Rahman Mintu said it is believed that the purpose of killing the young man and disappearing the body was left at this place. The deceased youth used to study in madrasa. Currently working as a daily laborer. They believe that the murder may have happened in this village.
Sub-inspector Mujibur Rahman of Maheshkhali police station, who recovered the body, said that the family members of the deceased were in Cox’s Bazar in the evening.
