City Reporter: The Lions Club of Chittagong handover ceremony was held at Chittagong Senior’s Club at Jamalkhan on Monday under the chairmanship of Lion Rebecca Nasreen and moderated by Club Secretary Lion Mohammad Ayub. The Chief Guest was Lions District 315-B4, District Governor Lion Kohinur Kamal. Cabinet Secretary Lion Belal Uddin Ahmed and Cabinet Treasurer Lion Imtiaz Islam were special guests.
PDG Forum chairman and former district governor Lion MA Malek and Haasir Tare Seva Call advocate PDG Lion Kamrun Malek and PDG Lion Dr. were also present at the event. Shri Prakash Biswas, PDG Lion Nazmul Haque Chowdhury.
In the speech of the chief guest, the District Governor said all service activities of the Lions Club of Chittagong are exemplary for other clubs. He said the quality of services should be increased through reforms in Lionism. In this regard, the Lions Club of Chittagong has to play a leading role as a school of Lionism. He wished the new committee well. As in previous days, he sought the cooperation of District Governor PDGs.
Lion BK Lala was the president of the first phase. He handed over the reins to newly appointed club president Lion Rebecca Nasreen. Lion Rajiv Singh delivered the welcome speech. Also present were Club Administrator Lion Mosleh Uddin Khan, Membership Chairman Lion Gopal Krishna Lala, LCIF Lion Nishat Imran, and Leo Advisor Lion Dr. Mesbah Uddin Tuhin. Leo Club of Chittagong president Leo Shahadat Hossain Saif and others were in full cooperation.
