The Crime Desk: The interim government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 59 districts of the country on Monday and Tuesday. A group of angry officials of the deputy secretary level made a fuss by alleging that they were deprived in the appointment of this post.
On Tuesday (September 10) at noon, the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, K. M., created a ruckus in Ali Azam’s room.
It is known that these officials were not promoted during the previous Awami League government. The interim government recently promoted him to the post of Deputy Secretary. They had expectations of becoming a DC.
New DCs were appointed in 25 districts of the country on Monday. New DCs were appointed in 34 more districts on Tuesday. Not seeing the name in the list, they were disappointed and made a fuss.
