Lohagara representative: while playing with poisonous snake in Padua of Lohagara. A teenager named Saeed (19) has died. He died on Tuesday (September 10) at 7 am while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College.
Kishore Saeed is the son of Motiur Rahman of Andharmanik Lalarkhil area of Ward No. 9 of Union and a laborer by profession.
Brother of the deceased. Raihan said that on Monday (September 9) around 8 p.m., his brother Saeed was bitten by a poisonous snake while playing. After some time, his body reacted to the poison.
Later, he was admitted to Upazila Health Complex around 9:30 pm. If his physical condition worsened there, he was sent to Chittagong Medical College for better treatment. He died while undergoing treatment there.
Lohagara upazila health and family planning officer Dr. Mohammad Hanif said relatives brought a teenager to the hospital after being bitten by a snake. He was sent to Chittagong Medical Hospital as his condition worsened despite the administration of antivenom.
