Hathajari Correspondent: Model police recovered the body of a taxi driver named Milan Barua (36) in Hathajari. Last Saturday morning, the body was recovered from the Joda pond in the Barua Para area of Jobra village, Ward No. 2 of Fatepur Union of the upazila. The deceased Milan Barua is the son of Rakhal Barua of Reserve Bazar area of Rangamati district.
According to local sources, Milon lived in a rented house for 12 years in the house of Nikhil Chandra Barua of the Jobra Barua neighborhood. He has two children. He is said to have taken a loan of several lakhs from various NGOs. Dwip Barua, a local resident, told the media that the locals found the body in the pond yesterday morning and informed the police. The police went to the spot and recovered the body and took it to the police station.
