The Crime Desk: Sufficient BGB has been deployed to ensure the security of the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CHMEC) in the situation arising from the attack on the DM in the capital.
Shariful Islam, public relations officer of BGB headquarters, said on Wednesday (September 4) morning that BGB members have also been deployed in Chittagong Medical College due to the recent attack on doctors at Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital.
Earlier, doctors across the country announced a ‘complete shutdown’ to demand justice for those involved in the beating and vandalism of doctors in the emergency department of Dhaka Medical.
As a result, the only specialized hospital in Greater Chittagong, Chittagong Medical College, and the doctors of the hospital also went on strike. As a result, all services of the hospital were stopped. However, after suspending this program, they returned to work. After that, BGB has been deployed for their security.
