The Crime Desk: Fahim Ahmed Palash, a student of Chittagong University (CU), who was seriously injured in a road accident while going to help the flood victims, died. He was a student of the 2018-19 session of the statistics department of CHBI.
Fahim died on Wednesday (September 4) around 6:30 am while undergoing treatment at Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital. This was confirmed by his classmate Ashiq Sarkar.
Earlier on the morning of August 27, Fahim Ahmad Palash was seriously injured in a road accident in the Zorarganj area of Mirsarai, Chittagong, while carrying relief for the flood victims on behalf of the students of the Chabir Statistics Department. 12 people, including him, were injured in this incident.
Classmate Ashiq Sarkar said Palash was undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College (Chamek) Hospital for the past one week. He was taken to a military hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday for better treatment. Palash died there at 6:20 am on Wednesday.
