The Crime Desk: Ali Murtaza Khan, Senior Joint Secretary of the Chittagong Metropolitan Branch of the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteer Party, has been expelled based on clear allegations of involvement in party discipline activities.
This information was given in a statement signed by Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers Party Secretary (Joint Editor Rank) Kazi Abdullah Al-Mamun.
It is said that he was expelled from all the positions, including primary membership, of the party on the basis of clear allegations of involvement in activities against party discipline. Party leaders were instructed not to have any contact with him.
The statement also mentioned that the President of the Swachhasebak Dal Central Committee, SM Jilani, and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan approved this decision on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday night, BNP expelled a leader of Mymensingh from the party on similar charges.
