Entertainment Desk: The stars of Indian Bengali movies have taken to the streets over the RG tax case in Kolkata. Popular actress Srilekha Mitra was the first to protest among the stars. As they joined the protest march, they also took to social media to demand justice for the rapist.

Srilekha Mitra posted a status on her Facebook on Wednesday (August 28) afternoon. The actress wrote, ‘I am uninstalling Facebook for a few days. Birthday party, greetings Nothing feels better. I am a sensitive person, so I am not an artist-celebrity. I can’t take this pressure anymore. The decadence all around is exhausting me; I need a few days off to get away from it all. Better not try to contact me.’
Srilekha’s decision has been applauded as well as condoled by her fans, while some have questioned it. Rimjhim Antara writes, ‘You were born in this society; you grew up here, and you will end up here. Its degradation will corrode any sensitive person. But as they increase, our inner radiance or strength will be strengthened. Tell me what happened to the rest. It is always one’s own fight. Don’t break down. One day I will overcome all this.
Tamsi Chakraborty writes, ‘Why didi? You are Shakti. How can we fight if you break down?’ Jhuma writes, ‘I want you, sister, for us.’ You are an inspiration to many; what will happen to them?’ Many comments are floating in the comment box. However, Srilekha did not reply to these comments.
