The Crime Desk: After the fall of the Hasina government, the news that many institutions arranged by the Awami League have been taken over by a party was spread on various levels, including social media. This time the Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
On Monday (August 26), he spoke about the issue as the chief guest at the staff conference organized by the medical police station branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
Jamaat Amir said those who do politics should read the language of people’s minds. The literature of the mind should be read. If we can’t, we fail. Thank God, we didn’t go to that kind of extravagance.
He said, on the one hand, the families of the martyrs are lamenting. The injured are lying in hospital beds. The flood has already started. Those who do not do politics for the people should stand by these endangered people. At this time, if you don’t stand there and chant the election, will the nation accept it?
They don’t even need elections. Everything that had already been occupied, starting from the footpath, has been taken over. All that Awami League arranged in 15 years they have taken over.
