Nagar Reporter: The country’s leading industry group, PHP Family, stands by the flood victims. The organization provided three meals a day and shelter to more than a thousand flood-affected people at their steel mill in Muhuriganj, Feni.
Mohammad Mohsin, Vice Chairman of PHP Family, said on social media Facebook that relief materials are being prepared for 5000 people starting Saturday. It includes food, clothing, sanitary products for women, and special food for children.
Mohsin said we have opened the door of our factory; all flood-affected people are taking shelter there. We are providing them with healthy food, warm clothes, sanitary products for women, and special food for children. 1000 people have already been served, and 5000 people are planned for Saturday.
The PHP family has also provided several boats for rescue in flood-affected areas. This humanitarian initiative of the industrial company has come as a great help to the flood-affected people and is also a role model for other institutions in society.
