City Reporter: Chittagong North District Awami League president and former member of parliament in Chittagong 6 constituency A. B. M. Fazle Karim Chowdhury, including 27 leaders and workers of Awami League organizations, have been sued in the Chittagong court.
Sirajuddaula, the former chairman of No. 11 West Gujra (Magdai) of Chittagong Rauzon Upazila, filed this case in the court of Chittagong Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Kazi Shahidul Islam on Monday (August 19) afternoon.
In this regard, the plaintiff lawyer, Sabuj Talukdar, said that a case of kidnapping has been filed against them. A total of 27 people have been accused in this case. The case was filed by former chairman Sirajuddaula for kidnapping a person. I hope the plaintiff will get a fair trial.
Apart from A. B. M. Fazle Karim Chowdhury, the other defendants in the case are Md. Shahab Uddin, Md. Sujatul Islam Fahim, Tony Barua, Liton Day, Md. Anwar, Md. Masud, Azam Khan, Md. Saddam, Sala Uddin, Saiful Islam (Liton), Abu Tayyab Prakash Kala Tayyab, Md. Jamal Prakash Kala Jamal, Angshuman Barua, Abdul Mannan, Md. Arif, Md. Sajjad, Md. Habibul Rahman, Ariful Islam, Md. Ismail, Md. Dulal, Md. Rafiq, Md. Kamal, Abdul Aziz, Md. Aslam, Md. Farooq, Md. Tanveer.
