City Reporter: 3 people were arrested with drugs and knives in the Chandgaon area of Chittagong.
On Saturday (August 17) around 9:30 pm, an army patrol team conducted the operation on the basis of secret information. The team was led by Major Elias Ferdous and Warrant Officer Emdad Ullah Chowdhury.
The arrested are Md. Suman, Md. Qayyum Uddin, and Md. Rubel Mia. Meanwhile, ganja, yaba, drug paraphernalia, 2 big daggers, and 2 knives were recovered from them. Later, the army handed them over to Chandgaon police station.
Chandgaon police station duty officer Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter to the media.
