Chief Justice’s Tribute at National Memorial

The Crime Desk: Newly appointed Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed paid tribute to the martyrs of the Great Liberation War at the Savar National Memorial.

He paid his respects at Savar National Memorial on Monday (August 12) morning. Then I signed the visitation book for the memorial.

After paying respects, the Chief Justice left the memorial area around 7:30 am.

Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Assistant Engineer of Public Works Department of Savar National Memorial, said that all judges of the High Court and Appellate Division entered the National Memorial at around 6:30 am. The Chief Justice entered the memorial around 7:30. He then paid his respects at the Martyrs Altar of the National Memorial.

Refat Ahmed took oath at Bangabhaban Durbar Hall on Sunday afternoon. The president recited the oath to him. Sahabuddin. Important people of the interim government were present at this time.
