Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus led by the interim government in a notification issued by the cabinet department on Friday. Asif Nazrul was given the responsibility of Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. Earlier on Thursday night, 14 members of the 17-member advisory council, including the chief adviser, took oath at Bangabhaban. President Mohammad Sahabuddin administered the oath to them at the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan.
Asif Nazrul was born on January 12, 1966. He is a writer, novelist, political analyst, constitutional expert and columnist. He is a professor in the law department of Dhaka University.
