The Crime Desk: BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia said, Let’s build a Bangladesh of love and peace, not revenge, not revenge. Khaleda Zia said this while joining the BNP rally in Nayapaltan on Wednesday (August 7)—shortly before 4:30 pm.

At the beginning of the speech, Khaleda Zia said, I am grateful to speak in front of you again. This Awami fascism fell through a long struggle. This victory has brought new possibilities to Bangladesh.

BNP Chairperson said we have a new victory in the struggle of students and youth. This time we have to build a prosperous Bangladesh. Students are our future. They have to realize their dreams. Let’s strengthen the hands of students and youth. Peace must be established, not destroyed.

Khaleda Zia said this victory has brought us to a new struggle. Now we have to build prosperous Bangladesh. Let’s strengthen the hands of the youth.

Earlier, acting chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman congratulated the students and said that the door of democracy has been opened. Appeal to the administration to ensure law and order with strong hands. No one should feel insecure because of religion or caste. Whether Mulman is Hindu, Christian, or Buddhist, stand as a shield in his safety. Our first identity is that we are Bangladeshis.

Calling upon the police to cooperate in fulfilling their duties, he said that the police is not the enemy of the people. Genocide Hasina has made the law and order forces enemies of the people. Most police officers try to fulfill their duties according to the rules of service. Stop attacks on police or religious minorities. Anyone using the name of BNP should be handed over to the law. A call to the countrymen: no one should take the law into their own hands, added Tariq Rahman.

Stating that anarchy against anarchy is not a solution, Tariq Rahman said we must move forward in harmony with the world. The country should be taken out of import dependence or foreign debt dependence. Export scope should be increased at any cost. A skilled and talented generation should be created. Tariq Rahman urged everyone to come forward to establish equality, human dignity, and social justice as the motto of the liberation war.
