The Crime Desk: Quota reform activists and the Chhatra League have announced counter-programs at Dhaka University and other university campuses in the country.
The anti-discrimination student movement has called a protest rally on all campuses across the country on Tuesday (July 16) to protest against the attack by the Chhatra League on the protestors demanding quota reform. Shortly after their announcement, the Chhatra League called for a protest rally on every campus in the country, including DU.
Announcing the program in a press conference in front of Shahidullah Hall of Dhaka University on Monday night, Coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Nahidul Islam, said, “We were attacked on Monday by bringing outsiders in a planned manner.” How do outsiders attack our university despite having proctors?

Besides, this organization has also announced plans to hold protest rallies at the same time on every campus in the country.
In an interview given to the media at the foot of the anti-terrorism Raju sculpture after 11:00 PM, Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain said that the Chhatra League will hold a protest program in all universities across the country on Tuesday at 1:30 PM.
