Earlier, schools and colleges were opened on June 26 after reducing the declared holiday in secondary school by one week to meet the shortage of students. However, initially, pre-announced holidays are maintained. Meanwhile, monsoon rains are pouring across the country. Sylhet is affected by floods. Primary schools are opening in this situation.
The Ministry of Education announces the holiday list of educational institutions and the schedule of various examinations and evaluations at the beginning of the year. Madrasa and Technical Educational Institute holiday lists are published by the Secondary and Higher Education Department and Madrasa and Technical Educational Institutions by the Technical and Madrasa Education Department.
On the other hand, from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, the holiday list of the primary schools in the country and the schedule of various tests and evaluations are informed.
