But it is much smaller than the normal size. Although he is backward in terms of physical ability, he has a strong interest in studying. That is why Russell Mridha, a disabled candidate, participated in the Alim exam with a pen between his toes.
Russell is the son of Abdur Rahim Mridha, a day laborer from Sholakura Mohalla of Singra Municipality and a student of Sholakura Islamia Alim Madrasa. Despite his poverty, his poor parents did not give up seeing the special interest of the disabled Russell Mridha in education. His dream of a higher education is going to be fulfilled today.
Abdur Rahim Mridha said, ‘Seeing my son’s interest in education, I am working as a daily wage. One day, the boy will brighten our faces by learning education.
Earlier, when he was informed that he had passed the Dakhil written examination with a GPA of 3.88, the then Deputy Commissioner of Natore (now Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi) Shamim Ahmed went to Russell’s house with sweets and flowers to congratulate him and his parents and encourage him to continue his studies. .
