Entertainment Desk: Five movies were released in theaters across the country on Eid-ul-Azha. These are ‘Tufan’, ‘Mayurakshi’, ‘Revenge’, ‘Dark World’, and ‘Agantuk’. Director Mohammad Iqbal produced the film ‘Revenge’ starring actress Shabnam Bubli. The director of the film complained that Bubli was not seen much in the promotion of the film. He claimed that maybe because of the release of actor Shakib Khan’s film ‘Toofan’, Bubli was not involved in the promotion of the film ‘Revenge’.
Meanwhile, Bubli spoke to the media about the whole issue. He said that he is responsible for his movies. Therefore, he attended the press conference of the movie ‘Revenge’ held at BFDC before Eid. Talked about the ‘Revenge’ movie in all promotional TV programs. Regarding the complaint of the director of the movie ‘Revenge’, he said, ‘Then where did I stay in the campaign? Bubli said, ‘My family says, co-artists say, husband says, and above all, my child’s father says—if any person makes any disrespectful comment about her, I will definitely avoid that person. So from the day I saw that Iqbal bhai started making offensive comments about Shakib Khan, I have avoided him ever since. After that, Iqbal Bhai started talking about me. Before these situations, the shooting of the movies ‘Revenge’ and ‘Bitre’ started, due to which I completed the work from a professional place. Meanwhile, Bubli also opened up about being dropped from the film ‘Bitte’. According to him, he himself withdrew from ‘Bitre’.
Bubli said “Bitre” director Iqbal Bhai’s other movie, “Revenge,” was released this Eid. He is always making various comments in different places; he does not care about the effect of the audience on his movies. I shot the film ‘Revenge’ four years ago. Around the time ‘Bitre’ was signed, the situation was not like it is now. The director of the movie gave me enough respect to sign me as a younger sister in his movie. But after a few days, I saw that Iqbal Bhai started making various comments about me or my other movies.
The actress also said, I have only shot my part in the movie ‘Revenge’; what is happening in the whole movie, where is the story going, how is the editing going, how is the work of the rest of the artists, how is the entire movie—it is not my responsibility, it is the responsibility of the director. . But he puts all the blame on the hero-heroine of his movie. What a funny thing! It seems that he may create controversy with his next movie. So I also thought it was better to withdraw on my own. Meanwhile, Bubli said about being dropped from the film ‘Maya the Love 2’, “There is nothing to be dropped from this film, where I have not signed a contract.”
