Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Sadiq Agro’s Imran has been accused of bringing stolen cows from Thailand through Myanmar through Ukhia. He smuggled cows from various countries, including India, Thailand, Myanmar, and the and the USA. That is why brokers are placed in layers. Secret camps have been built in different parts of the country to keep these foreign cows of various breeds.

According to sources, Imran Hossain controls the cattle smuggling route through the Ukhia border of Cox’s Bazar. Imrul Kayes, Chairman of the Haldiapalong Union, is associated with it. He is responsible for the cross-border and local maintenance of smuggled cows. Improved breeds of cattle from Thailand enter Bangladesh through the Ukhia border through Myanmar. Imran played a role in it. However, the cows coming to the country in this process are not kept on the farm of Sadek Agro. They are kept at Sheikh Cattle Farm in Narsingdi through various means.

Several videos from various sources have shown cows from Thailand entering Bangladesh through the Ukhia border. After that, they were kept in the custody of Imrul Qais for a long time. That is why a secret camp has been made in the deep forest of Ukhia. It is usually not seen by law enforcement agencies or the general public. It can be seen in several videos that Imrul Kayes is taking care of cows from Thailand in that dera. In a video, Imran Hossain, the owner of Sadek Agro, is also seen supervising the cows there.

According to the investigation, cows were brought from Ukhia and kept for a long time at Sheikh Cattle Farm in Narsingdi. Besides, these cows are also kept in a secret farm in Nabinagar housing in Bachila. Evidence of this has also been found on the ground.

Note that Sadiq Agro’s journey started in 2010. According to information on their website, they are the largest beef producer in Bangladesh. This farm has been built by occupying the Ramchandrapur canal in Mohammadpur; such complaints are also received from the locals. Next to his farm are billboards asking people not to dump garbage in the canal.
