In a written statement, he said Anchar Khanam, the wife of an expatriate named Nurul Quader, held a press conference against Touhidul Haque in Lohagara on Thursday, June 20. The allegations leveled against him in this press conference regarding the venue are not true. In this press conference, Md. Touhidul Haque was accused of being an illegal occupier, breaking the gate of a part of the site, breaking the boundary wall, and taking away the gate. Md. Tauhidul Haque claims that these allegations are completely fabricated and baseless.
It is necessary to mention here that the people of the Puran Thana Road area of Lohagara Sadar constructed a drain a few months ago to alleviate waterlogging. This canal is constructed for public use. There are several owners of the constructed canal area. In the written statement of Touhidul Haque, it was also informed that legal action will be taken regarding the allegations brought against him.
He also said that these false allegations may have been made against him at the behest of someone. He claimed that these allegations were meant to undermine his dignity. Md. Tauhidul Haque also said that the opponent has filed a case under Section 145 of the Criminal Code regarding the said place. He was not made a defendant in the said case. Also, the opponent filed another complaint against the opposition at Lohagara police station regarding the same place.
