Raujan Correspondent: The body of a schoolgirl named Tanha Akhtar (09) was recovered from a pond in Raujan. Locals recovered his body from a pond in Prakash Guchch village, Adarsh village, Ward No. 8, Raujan Sadar Union No. 7, Raujan Upazila, at 11:00 today on Friday.
According to local people, Tanha left the house in search of her grandfather. A local woman named Shahanara Begum was seen washing her feet in the pond in front of the house, a few hundred feet away from their residence. After half an hour, her mother, Yasmin Akhtar, came out to look for Tanha.
Later, he saw Tanha’s shoes floating in the pond. After that, everyone went down to the pond and searched, and Tanha’s body was found. Later, Raujan was taken to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
