Entertainment Desk: A man was killed for harassing his wife. Such sensational allegations have been made against the Indian Kannada actor. Popular Kannada actor Darshan Thugudeepa and his wife, Pavitra Gowda, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder.
They were arrested from Baganbari in Mysuru on Tuesday morning (June 11). Later, he was taken to Bangalore for questioning. According to police sources, not only the actor and his wife, but 10 other people have been taken into custody in this incident.
It is reported that the body of a man named Renuka Swamy (33) was found near Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru. The man was working in a drug store in the Chitradurga area. Preliminary investigation revealed that Renuka was harassing Darshan’s wife. He reportedly sent abusive messages. Then suddenly, Renuka disappeared. After a few days, his family lodged a complaint with the police. But at that time, the police asked to wait for two more days, the family claims.
Renuka’s body was found in a drain near Sumanahalli Bridge on Monday (June 10). According to police and local sources, the matter came to the attention of the locals when a dog was dragging the body. Later, the three arrested people confessed to the murder and said that they had done it on the instructions of actor Darshan. Renuka’s identity is known to the detainees.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Renuka was murdered on June 9. Darshan was arrested based on the complaint of the victim’s mother. Tight security arrangements have been made at Darshan’s house in RR Nagar. The investigation has started. Whether the actor and his wife were directly involved in the murder or victims of a conspiracy is being investigated.
