In this regard, Justice Navin Chawla said – ‘Amitabh Bachchan is a well-known person, his face has been used in many advertisements. But not all are done with his permission. And that’s why this actor is angry.
A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan filed a case in this regard in the Delhi High Court. In view of that, Justice Navin Chawla gave this interim order. “There is a possibility of irreparable damage to the plaintiff,” he said. Certain activities may also defame him. Taking these into consideration, this decision has been taken.
Amitabh Bachchan’s lawyer Harish Solvay said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan’s name, still image, voice are being misused. Especially some mobile application developers, illegal lotteries and some are making t-shirts with Amitabh’s face on them. Apart from that Amitabh Bachchan is being used commercially. He approached the High Court for these closures.
