Four companies were fined in Rayazuddin Bazar and Kazi Deuri

City Reporter: The district administration has run a mobile court in Kazi Deuri market and Rayazuddin market under the Kotwali police station of the city. At this time, due to various irregularities, four institutions were fined 18,500 taka.

Baklia Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate AFM Shamim and District Administration Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Shahid Ishraq conducted the operation yesterday.

Executive Magistrate AFM Shamim told the media that Rubel Store was fined Tk 10,000 and Ilyach Store was fined Tk 5,000 for the crime of selling essential products without displaying the price list during the raid at Kazi Deuri Market in the city. Along with fines, traders have been warned. Besides, the vegetable sellers of Kazi Deuri Market are instructed and warned to sell vegetable products in line with the wholesale market. He also said that such operations will continue in the public interest.

On the other hand, Executive Magistrate Shahid Ishraq told the media that raids have been conducted in Rayazuddin Bazar to prevent the increase in commodity prices. At that time, New Mukta Trading Company was fined 2 thousand rupees, and M/s Comilla Trading Company was fined 1500 rupees for not keeping the purchase receipt and not displaying the price list. Besides, the vegetable sellers are instructed and cautioned to sell vegetable products in line with the wholesale market.
