Dhaka Bureau: The office hours of government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous institutions in the country are from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon. This office period will be effective after the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain said that this decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting on Monday.
Normal office hours in Bangladesh are from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon. But to save power and energy, the office hours of government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous institutions are changed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 15, 2022.
