After that, he made several dramas, including ‘Paush Faguner Pala’, ‘Sade Tintala’, and ‘Doll’s House’. This time, this actress produced a web film. Mimi’s web film ‘Off the Mark’ is showing on the OTT platform iScreen from Thursday (May 30).
Afsana Mimi has produced a web film on the story of a small-town teenager who overcomes environmental barriers to become a cricketer. He said, “The web film is made on the story of a 14-year-old teenager’s dream come true. The sacrifice and struggle of his mother behind that dream are also shown. A very simple story. So I tried to keep that common theme in the construction as well.”
Most of the movie was shot in Bagerhat. After going there, Arham was finalized as Deepu. This is the first work by this actor on OTT. Mostafizur Noor Imran, Sharmin Akhtar Sharmi, Hayatuzzaman Khan, Khalid Hasan Rumi, Ariba, Anas, Shamsul Hadi, Ashraful Alam, and Tamanna Islam also acted.
Mimi’s journey in entertainment spans over three decades. He made his acting debut through a stage play. In 1986, he appeared on stage for the first time for the exceptional theater group.
