Four workers of three candidates were fined in Lohagara for violation of the code of conduct

Mobile representatives: The mobile court fined 6 thousand rupees to 4 workers of 3 candidates for violating the election code of conduct in Lohagara. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Nazmun Lyell conducted separate operations in Adhunagar and Darbeshat areas on Friday (May 31).

Samshul Islam, the chairman of the pineapple symbol, was fined Tk 1,000 for campaigning using multiple microphones; Jane Alam, another worker, was fined Tk 2,000; Zamir Uddin, the vice chairman of Tala Prytek, was fined Tk 2,000 for the crime of pasting posters on election campaign vehicles; and the female vice chairman of Football Prytkim was fined Tk 2,000 for the same crime. The candidate’s worker, Abu Said, has been fined 1000 taka.

Executive Magistrate Nazmun Lail said that 2 workers of the pineapple symbol, 1 worker of the lock symbol, and 1 worker of the football symbol have been fined for violating the election code of conduct. He requested that all the candidates abide by the electoral code of conduct in the upazila elections. This type of campaign will continue in the public interest.
