Entertainment Desk: Tollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India. Information about a cash transaction of around 1 crore rupees has been found between a Tollywood actress and an accused arrested in ration corruption. But the ED has summoned Rituparna to find out why this information was traded.
Local media reported that Rituparna is in America. He has been summoned by e-mail. He was summoned to the ED office on June 5. Rituparna has not reacted to this till now.
It may be noted that in July 2019, Rituparna and actor Prasenjit Chatterjee were interrogated by the ED investigating the Rose Valley case. Rosevalley Company had produced several Bengali films before that. Rituparna and Prasenjit Chatterjee were in touch with Gautam Kundu, the leader of this organization.
