Dhaka Bureau: Voting will be held on the occasion of the general election of 58 upazila parishads of the country in the fourth phase on June 5. On this occasion, the Public Administration Ministry has declared a general holiday in the electoral area on the polling day (June 5).
On Monday (May 27), according to the demand of the Bangladesh Election Commission Secretariat, a notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration declaring this holiday.
It is said that according to the demand of the Bangladesh Election Commission Secretariat, on the occasion of the general election of 58 upazila parishads, on the day of polling, i.e., June 5, a general holiday has been declared in the respective constituencies.
Sixth Upazila Parishad’s fourth phase polls will be held on June 5. The last date for submission of nomination papers in this phase was May 9th, and the date of scrutiny of nominations was May 12th.
Appeal against the returning officer’s decision from May 13 to May 15. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was May 19. The symbol was allotted on May 20.
