The Crime Desk: 34 thousand 741 pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia so far to perform Hajj. This information was obtained from the latest bulletin of the Hajj management portal.
Apart from this, three Bangladeshi citizens have died during Hajj so far. The latest local time is Tuesday. A 65-year-old man named Lutfur Rahman died in Makkah. His passport number is 12969408.
It is known that among the pilgrims, 3 thousand 747 people under government management and 30 thousand 994 people under private management reached Saudi Arabia.
These pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia on 87 flights from Bangladesh. Out of this, Biman operates 39 flights for Bangladesh Airlines, 28 for Saudi Airlines, and 20 for Flynn Airlines.
Earlier, on May 9, the first dedicated flight of Bangladesh Airlines departed for Saudi Arabia with 415 pilgrims. With this, the official journey of this year’s Hajj begins. It will end on June 10.
The Holy Hajj is scheduled to be held on June 15 or 16, depending on the sighting of the moon. The first return flight of pilgrims will start on June 20 and end on July 22.
