After that, there may be thunderstorms in some places in the Mymensingh, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and in two or three places in Rangpur, Dhaka, and Barisal divisions. Scattered hail may occur. Due to these reasons, the heat wave may decrease in some areas on Sunday.
According to the weather forecast till 6 p.m. today, some places in the Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and two or three places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Barisal divisions may experience rain with gusty winds or thunder. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms in some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country.
Regarding the heat wave, it is said that a mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Barisal divisions, along with Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, and Feni districts, and it may continue.
Regarding the temperature, the daytime temperature may drop slightly in the eastern part of the country, and it may remain almost unchanged elsewhere. Nighttime temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.
On the other hand, the forecast for the next 24 hours from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday said that there may be temporary rain or thundershowers with gusty winds in some places in the Mymensingh, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and two or more places in Rangpur, Dhaka, and Barisal divisions. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms in some places. Besides, the weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky in other parts of the country.
Regarding heat waves, the ongoing heat wave conditions may ease in some parts of the north and north-eastern parts of the country. Regarding the temperature, the day temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees across the country, and the night temperature may drop slightly.
