Karnaphuli Correspondent: Former female tailor Farzana of the same establishment and a person identified as DB Source Saiful have been accused of attacking a tailor called ‘Asia Burka House’ in Karnaphuli and beating up the owner. The incident took place at Nurunnabi Chairman’s Market on Khwajanagar Ayub Bibi Road in Charpatharghata Union of Upazila at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15.
In this, the owner of Tailors, Mohammad Tayyab (33), was injured by cutting his hands and feet and bleeding. Taiyab is the son of Chhaber Ahmad of Khwajnagar (Ward No. 5) in the Charpatharghata Union.
When the police approached the police station for redressal in this incident, they came to the scene and looked around. Later, I took GD, whose GD number was 776. The accused in the GD are Suman’s wife Anu Begum (50), her daughter Reena Akhter (30), and Farzana (18) of Khwajnagar area of Charpatharghata Union, along with alleged DB source Saiful.
According to GD sources, Asia Burka House owner Mohammad Taib worked as a tailor for one year. I didn’t come to the store after the last 15 days of Ramadan. I didn’t even work. As there was no communication, the shop owner hired another tailor girl as an employee.
Meanwhile, Farzana came to the shop on the morning of May 13 and expressed her interest in working. Then the shop owner, Taiyab, told him that the shop does not need employees now. Another one is taken. The next day, on May 14, at 8 p.m., Saiful, the tailor worker Farzana, and her mother, along with the DB source identity, appeared at the shop.
Suddenly, they want to know why Farzana will not be taken to the shop. At one stage of the argument, they beat Taiyab and injured him in different parts of his body. In this, Taiyab’s hands and feet were cut, and the floor of the shop became bloody. The big glass in front of the shop was broken. Elopatari ransacked and ransacked. When asked about this, the owner of Asia Burka House, Mohammad Tayyub, said, “Suddenly Farzana’s mother and Farzana came and vandalized my tailors along with Saiful in the identity of DB Source. He beat me, too. I immediately informed the police. Local people have seen everything. The police came and saw everything. I want justice for this.

M. Gholam Un Nabi Rishad, the chairman’s son and the owner of the market, said, “A man named Saiful, identified as DB Source, has carried out a terrorist attack on my rented shop. In respect of the incident of an attack by a female terrorist on the tenant, I informed the police station with respect to the law. The police must cooperate to get justice.
In this context, the OC of Karnaphuli police station said: Zahir Hossain said, “The owner of Asia Burka House, Mohammad Tayyab, has filed a GD for threatening him. which is being investigated. Legal action is being taken.
