Nagar Reporter: Chittagong City Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Faction Holdings Corporation of the United States for the construction of ‘Smart Chittagong City’. Tuesday (May 14): CCC conference room, Chasik mayor. The MoU was signed in the presence of Rezaul Karim Chowdhury.
Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Muhammad Touhidul Islam and Faction Holdings Corporation Director Max Garza signed the agreement on behalf of CCC.
At that time, the mayor said, “There are many works going on around Chittagong to implement the plan of building a smart Bangladesh under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.” As part of this, today’s memorandum of understanding was signed.
Director of Faction Holdings Corporation, Max Garza, said, ‘To build a smart Chittagong, the education system and education infrastructure for children must be built smart. In this regard, Faction Holdings Corporation’s experience and capabilities will take Chittagong forward. That’s why we want to work with CCC to build Chittagong as a smart city through urban services and urban development, including education, health, and transport sectors, by conducting feasibility studies and utilizing technology and artificial intelligence.
The former Managing Director of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and the Chief Executive Officer of the FBCCI Innovation and Research Center were also present.
