The ban on RAB is in the law office

Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Private Industries and Investments Salman F. Rahman told reporters that there was a discussion with the US State Department’s Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Affairs, Donald Lu, about the ban on RAB.

This issue was discussed with Donald Lu, who was visiting Dhaka for dinner at Salman F. Rahman’s residence on Tuesday. In the briefing after the dinner, Salman F. Rahman said, I have mentioned the matter of bringing back Rashed Chowdhury, the murderer of Bangabandhu, along with the ban on RAB. They said these two issues are in the law office.

Salman F. Rahman also said that Donald Lu came last time and that there has been improvement in RAB. As a result, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is cooperating in this matter. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the Law Department that there has been improvement in the RAB issue.

Salman F. Rahman also said that the dollar crisis was discussed in this meeting. In addition, the United States wants to improve relations with Bangladesh. Bangladesh also welcomed their request.

Regarding the discussion on Palestine, the Prime Minister’s advisor said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is very concerned about the Palestinian crisis. The Americans said that, like Bangladesh, the United States also wants a permanent ceasefire. They indicate that it is heading towards a permanent solution. However, he did not give details of the solution.
