On Sunday (May 5) afternoon, the teacher was attacked on the east side of Medina Bazar of Muchapur Union of the upazila. Earlier this evening, a teasing incident took place in the 6th grade room of that madrasa around 11 p.m. on the same day. Accused in the attack. Arabic lecturer of Jamia Sharaftia Islamia Fazil Madrasah Md. Shaheed Ullah complained that the outsider Raju came to the campus of Jamia Sharaftia Islamia Fazil Madrasah around 11 o’clock. Then he entered the 6th grade room with the help of a student of the madrasa and started teasing a girl. At that time, the student hid under the bench in the classroom because of her fear. After that, Raju continued to harass him, even though other classmates stopped him. Upon receiving the news, the teacher of the Noorani department of the madrasa said: When Sohail came forward, Evtijara Raju and his accomplices beat up the teacher inside the madrasa. Immediately, the teacher of the same madrasa, Muhammad Hasan, came forward and protested.

Due to this, 7/8 juvenile gang members led by Raju and Noman attacked the teacher Hasan on his way home from the madrasa in the afternoon. When Teacher Hasan ran in fear, the attackers beat him to the ground. His two hands were broken.

Teacher Hasan’s father-in-law Md. Sahab Uddin and mother-in-law Bibi Khadija said that youth gang members had committed this crime because they were protesting against eve-teasing. At present, Hasan is being treated at the Japan-Bangladesh Hospital in the district town of Maizdi.
