A missing girl from Rangamati was rescued in Karnaphuli

City Reporter: The police of Karnaphuli police station rescued Kishori Chandra (16), who went missing five days ago from Asambasti in Rangamati district.

Five days after he went missing, he was rescued by the Karnaphuli Port Police Outpost Raipur area on Saturday (May 4) around 9 p.m. This was confirmed by SI Mizanur Rahman, in charge of the Port Police Outpost under the Karnaphuli police station. The rescued girl Chandra is the daughter of Manju Karmakar of Asambasti (No. 5) of Rangamati Sadar Police Station in Rangamati District.

According to the General Diary (GD) of Rangamati Sadar Police Station, he went missing from his home at Anukur Street on April 29 (Monday) around noon. Even after searching all possible places, his mother lodged a GD at Sadar police station in Rangamati on Friday, May 3, whose GD number is 137.

Rangamati Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Ali said that five days after the disappearance, CMP has come to know that the police of Karnaphuli police station have rescued the girl. After coming to the police station, before handing over to the parents, the details will be known as to why he was missing.

SI Mizanur Rahman, in charge of the Bandar police outpost under Karnaphuli police station, said, “Kishori has been rescued. Many things cannot be said for good reason. But soon he will be handed over to his family. They have been informed.
