Entertainment Desk: A fire has occurred on the shooting floor of the popular TV reality show ‘Saregamapa’. The accident took place at around 11 a.m. on Monday (April 22) at the studio located in Rajarhat, Kolkata.
According to several Indian media outlets, a makeup van from the studio caught fire first. The fire also spread to the makeup van next door. A nearby tin shed also caught fire. As soon as the fire started, there was panic. The people in the studio and the locals rush out. The fire service was informed.
Initially, some people tried to put out the fire by taking water from the nearby pond. However, when the fire service arrived, the two makeup vans were burned to ashes. Now the fire is under control. However, no casualties were reported in this incident.
The fire is believed to have started from the makeup van’s AC. How the fire started will be investigated.
The shows ‘Dadagiri’ and ‘Didi Number One’ were also shot in this studio. The shooting of the ‘Saregamapa’ show was supposed to take place today. But it was cancelled.
