Oliul Haque Rumi had been suffering from colon cancer for a long time. Go to Chennai, India, for treatment. After returning home, the actor was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.
Rumi mostly acts in the regional language of Barisal. It is in this language that the audience laughs and cries. Aliul Haque Rumi was also associated with journalism. He was the editorial assistant of the country’s traditional national newspaper, ‘Dainik Ittefaq’.
